How are you wired? Do you believe something first when you see it? Or do you see it when you believe it?

Do you have your glass half empty or half full? I think the questions go hand in hand.

Yesterday I saw something unbelievable with my own eyes. If I believe it? Don’t know what to say… Yes. There isn’t anything not to believe. I saw it. Do I know how it happened? No. I take that as a good proof of that you don’t need to know how to make things happen. But there is a way. And magic is a real thing.

Do I come across as confused? Still in minor chock? 😉

Seven of Diamonds

Seven of Diamonds, and much more – with Jay Alexander

This is what happened. This is the card: seven of Diamonds.

From a 25cm distance, I watched how this card with my own written signature on it turned into an ace of clubs with “Betty” written on it, and back to mine, by flipping it around. It was placed on top of the card deck, and reappeared in the middle. Twice and three times. It disappeared in a second in-between the thumb and index finger, and re-appeared in the smiling bite of the magician himself.

– HOW DID YOU DO THAT?, I said.
– Very well, Jay Alexander answered.

Now – I have seen this man perform, and it is absolutely mind blowing. If you are ever looking for an extra ordinary entertainment at a corporate event, or other – he is the person to engage. Jay Alexander (http://jayalexander.com/) is an American magician and comic known as one of the top corporate and society entertainers in the country. He has appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America and MTV. He has entertained for artists like Bono, U2, Robin Williams and corporations like Google, Apple and many many more.

“If you take any activity, any art, any discipline, any skill – take it and push it as far as it will go, push it beyond where it has every been before, push it to the wildest edges of edges, then you force it into the realm of magic.”

Tom Robbins (b. 1936), Writer

What skill, art or discipline would you want to push into the realm of magic?

Believe it and go do it,

Johanna
